What I’m loving right now Hairstory New Wash (hairstory.com, $60) because it has a combined shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t make my hair dry. It has no sulfates or parabens and my hair doesn’t feel stripped.

Beauty icon A young girl, Iona Francis @sparklesandskin. She advocates SPF and really cleaning your skin properly.

Rule I live by You never know what is behind the closed door.

Best beauty tips If you wake up with hoody, sagging eyes, put your middle finger on your eyebrow, apply some tension and then open and close your eyes 30 times with exaggerated blinking. Always exfoliate and wear SPF every day. Two things I can’t do without are Trinny London Miracle Blur (trinnylondon.com, $48) and Trinny London BFF De-Stress ($75), a beautiful serum with tint.

Favourite hair product Oribe Split End Seal (adorebeauty.com.au, $72); expensive but it brings hair back to life.

Favourite exercise routine I exercise three times a week with Natalie Hayward on YouTube. It’s a mixture of weights and Pilates.

I never leave the house without My Trinny London Stack (from $34), a team of cream-based, multitasking pots of joy that click seamlessly together.

Ask Steph

Are acrylics bad for your nails?
Yes. Nails are composed of dead cells, but still need to breathe. Synthetic nail treatments are not porous and this can cause the nail to soften. To help soft, peeling nails, try Mavala Nail Shield (mavala.com.au, $22).
